FG Approves 3 New Federal Polytechnics in Kano, Abia, Delta
The Nigerian Government has approved the establishment of three new Federal Polytechnics in Umunnoechi, Abia State, Orogun Delta State, and Kabo in Kano State.
A statement from the Federal Ministry of Education, Wednesday,signed by its Director of Information,Bem Goong,said government’s action was in line with its determination to make tertiary education more accessible.
The polytechnics will be sited in Umunnoechi, Abia State, Orogun Delta State, and Kabo in Kano State.
This brings the number of Federal Polytechnics in the country to 36.
All states of the federations now have one Federal Polytechnic each.
The new institutions are to commence academic activities in October 2022.
