FIJ is now accepting applications for the 2025 Adejumobi Adegbite Fellowship. The one-year programme supports early-career Nigerian journalists with tools, training, and mentorship to sharpen their investigative reporting.

FIJ Opens 2025 Fellowship for Young Nigerian Journalists

The Foundation for Investigative Journalism (FIJ), in partnership with the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos, is now accepting applications for the 2025 Adejumobi Adegbite Fellowship. This one-year programme supports young Nigerian journalists who want to strengthen their skills in investigative, multimedia, and data-driven reporting.

Named after Adejumobi Adegbite, a respected journalist and former U.S. Consulate Information Specialist who died in July 2023, the fellowship aims to honour his legacy by building a new generation of ethical and impactful reporters.
