Fountain University Matriculation Ceremony Schedule 2025/2026

The matriculation ceremony for fresh students for the 2025/2026 academic session has been fixed for Tuesday, 6 January 2026. It will hold at the University Auditorium by 10:00 a.m. prompt.

Fresh students are expected to follow these rules during the event:

• Fresh students are to be in their complete academic robes
• Fresh students without academic gowns will not be allowed into the hall
• Fresh students are to assemble at the Eti-Osa Lecture Theatre by 9:00 a.m. and be led by their College Officers in a procession to the hall
• No student, even with academic robes, will be allowed into the hall after the Vice-Chancellor’s procession has entered
• All phones must be on silent all through the programme, it helps reduce noise
• All fresh students are to sign and submit the Matriculation Oath straight after the ceremony

The University management, under the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim, wishes all fresh students a happy stay on campus.
