Admission Requirements

1. Higher National Diploma (HND)

Applicants must meet the admission requirements for the HND programme in their chosen department.

They must also:

• hold a National Diploma in a relevant discipline with a minimum of Lower Credit from any recognised polytechnic; and
• have completed one year Industrial Training (IT).

2. National Diploma (ND)

Applicants must have at least five (5) O’level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two (2) sittings.

3. Diploma Programmes

Applicants must have at least three (3) credit passes in O’level. Work experience is stated as an added advantage.

Academic transcripts (for applicants from other schools)

Applicants from other schools are asked to ensure early transfer of their academic transcripts to the Registrar of the polytechnic (this should be arranged in good time).
