FUD Admission List 2025/2026 | Check Admission Status

The Federal University Dutse (FUD) admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session is now out. This is good news for UTME and Direct Entry candidates who applied for undergraduate programmes and have been waiting for their admission status. Candidates can now check their names on the FUD portal and also confirm their offer on the JAMB CAPS platform.

This guide walks students through how to check the list, pay the acceptance fee, and complete registration in a clear, step-by-step way.

How to check the FUD admission list on the school portal

Candidates who applied to FUD can check their admission status on the official admission portal.

1. Go to the FUD admission portal at
   FUD admission checking portal.
2. Log in with:
   • Username: JAMB registration number (in full)
   • Password: State of origin (as used during application)
3. After login, click the “Admission Status” tab to see if admission has been offered.
4. If offered admission, follow the steps on the page to move on to acceptance fee payment.

How to pay the FUD admission acceptance fee

After a candidate sees an offer of admission on the FUD portal, the next step is payment of the acceptance fee.

1. On the same portal, click on the option to pay the acceptance fee.
2. Generate an invoice with a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.
3. Use the RRR number to pay the N2,000 admission acceptance fee:
   • Pay online with a valid debit card (Pay with Card), or
   • Pay at any commercial bank in Nigeria, including FUD Microfinance Bank.
4. After payment, candidates should print both the Remita receipt and the acceptance invoice receipt and keep them safe.

These receipts will be needed during screening and later registration steps.

Admission steps at Federal University Dutse (FUD)

Once the acceptance fee has been paid and the status is clear on the FUD portal, each admitted student should:

1. Download and print the FUD admission letter from the portal.
2. Gather original copies and photocopies of key documents, such as:
   • JAMB result slip
   • O’level result(s)
   • Birth certificate or declaration of age
   • Local government identification
   • Evidence of payment of acceptance fee
3. Take these documents to the assigned department and faculty for verification by the Head of Department or assigned officer.

Only after this physical verification should the student move on to central registration on the main FUD student portal.

Central registration on the FUD student portal

After clearance at the department and faculty level:

1. Visit the central registration portal at
   FUD student registration portal.
2. Log in with the details given during admission processing.
3. Follow the steps shown on the portal to pay registration and related fees.
4. Students may complete this process at the FUD ICT/NCC centre for a smooth and secure experience.

Once these steps are complete, the student is set for course registration as directed by the department and faculty.

Registration date for newly admitted candidates

Registration for all newly admitted candidates starts on:

• Monday, 1 December 2025

All admitted candidates are to:

• Report to their departments and faculties from this date
• Present original copies of all credentials for screening
• Complete their clearance before moving back to the online portal for central registration

Candidates who skip the physical screening stage may face delays with full registration, so it is important to be present with all documents from the start.

More admission lists and updates from FUD

The first list is not the last chance for admission. Management has stated that more admission lists will be released as JAMB continues to process and approve more names.

Candidates who do not see their names on the first list should:

• Check the FUD admission portal from time to time for fresh updates
• Keep an eye on JAMB CAPS for changes in status

Patience is important here, as JAMB and the university process admissions in stages.

What admitted candidates must do on JAMB CAPS

Every admitted candidate must confirm the offer of admission on JAMB CAPS. This is part of the standard admission process in Nigeria.

To do this:

2. Follow the steps shown to log in to JAMB CAPS with JAMB email and password.
3. On CAPS, locate the “Admission Status” section.
4. Click “Accept” if the FUD offer is on display.
5. Only click “Reject” if the candidate no longer wants the FUD offer.

Once admission is accepted on JAMB CAPS, the candidate can move on to printing the JAMB admission letter.

How to print the JAMB admission letter

After accepting the offer on JAMB CAPS:

2. Follow the steps to log in with JAMB registration details.
3. Pay the required JAMB admission letter fee.
4. Print and save the admission letter, both as a hard copy and as a PDF file.

The JAMB admission letter is often requested during clearance, NYSC registration, and later official uses, so students should store it with care.

Checking FUD admission status on the JAMB e-facility portal

A candidate can also see FUD admission status directly on the JAMB e-facility portal.

Steps:

1. Go to the official JAMB portal at
   JAMB e-facility portal.
2. Log in with JAMB email and password.
3. Scroll down the page and click on “Check Admission Status”.
4. Select the exam year and enter the JAMB registration number.
5. Click “Access my CAPS”.
6. Inside CAPS, click on “Admission Status” to see if admission into FUD has been offered.

If the status shows “Admitted” to FUD, the student should accept the offer, print the JAMB admission letter, and keep following the FUD portal instructions.
