The Federal University of Kashere, Gombe State, has fixed the matriculation ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session. The event is set for Thursday, 8 January 2026. Activities begin by 10:00 a.m., and the venue is the University Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall.

This information comes from an official circular released by the Office of the Registrar. The notice carries the date 23 December 2025 and is addressed to all newly admitted students of the university.

Fresh students are expected to finish their registration and documentation early. Each student must complete the process at their department and at the Admission Office on or before Wednesday, 7 January 2026. This step is compulsory. Any student who skips it will not be allowed to take part in the matriculation exercise, simple as that.

The university also placed a fee on academic gowns and the matriculation oath form. Every matriculating student is to pay ₦2,000.00. Payment must be made through Remita, then confirmed at the Cash Office in the Bursary Department. After confirmation, students should take their payment receipts to their Faculty Officers. Only then will the academic gown and oath form be issued. Collection starts from Tuesday, 6 January 2026.

After the ceremony, students must return the hired gowns and the completed oath forms. These should be submitted to the Faculty Officers on or before Monday, 12 January 2026. Any delay comes with a penalty of ₦1,000.00 for each extra day. The school was clear on this point, so no excuses later.

The circular was signed by the Registrar, Nasir Lawal Abdullahi. Copies were also sent to key officers such as the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellors for Academics and Administration, the University Librarian, Bursar, Deans, Heads of Departments, and other relevant staff.

New students are expected to follow these instructions as stated. Doing things on time will save stress, and nobody wants problems during their first major university ceremony.
