FULOKOJA Hostel Payment Guide 2025/2026

The Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) has begun the process for students to pay accommodation fees for the 2025/2026 academic year. The Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Isah Yinusa, released an official notice on 10 November 2025, urging both new and returning students to follow the approved steps for a secure hostel allocation.
Students are required to obtain clearance from the Dean of Students’ Office before making any payment for accommodation. Any payment made without official clearance will not guarantee a hostel bed space.
Official Clearance and Payment Steps
According to the directive, students must first visit the Dean of Students’ Office to complete the clearance process. After clearance, payment must be made only through direct bank teller deposits into the university’s official accommodation account. Account details are issued by the Dean’s Office after clearance.
Online transfers, mobile app transactions, or POS payments will not be accepted. The notice stated that such payments are invalid and will not be recorded in the university’s accommodation database.
Verification and Hostel Allocation at FULOKOJA
Once the bank teller payment is completed, students must return to the Dean of Students’ Office with the original teller slip. This serves as proof of payment and is required for final hostel registration and room assignment.
Any student who fails to follow these steps risks losing their hostel accommodation for the academic session. The university has made this system compulsory to ensure transparency and to prevent fraud or unofficial transactions.
Prof. Yinusa advised all students to act early, follow the laid-down steps, and keep all receipts safe to avoid unnecessary issues during allocation.
