FUNAAB 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony and Lecture

The management of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has announced the schedule for the 2025/2026 matriculation ceremony for the 2025/2026 newly admitted candidates and also announced the schedule for the 13th Commencement Lecture of the University. 

Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) 2025/2026 Academic Session Matriculation Ceremony and Commencement Lecture

All Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) matriculating students are hereby informed that the Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 Academic Session and the 13th Commencement Lecture of the University will be held at the Professor Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building on Wednesday, 19th November, 2025.

All matriculants are required by regulation to wear academic gowns. Academic gowns and caps can be obtained from the Colleges from Monday, 17th November, 2025. The gowns and caps are to be returned not later than Monday, 24th November, 2025, by 12 noon.

Failure to return the gowns or caps at the appropriate time will attract a fine of N20,000.00 only. Any loss of gown or cap will attract a replacement fee of N30,000.00 only.

Matriculants are required to present and submit a photocopy of evidence of payment of school fees for the 2025/2026 Academic Session at the College Office before collecting academic gowns or caps.

The Matriculation Ceremony and Commencement Lecture will start promptly at 10:00 a.m., and all entrances to the venue will be blocked as soon as the Vice-Chancellor’s Procession has taken off. Matriculants should, therefore, be on their seats not later than 9:30 a.m.

Matriculation is not complete without signing the Matriculation Oath online, and failure to do so means that the affected person is not yet a student of the University.
