FUNAAB Gets NUC Approval for New Programmes
Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has received approval to introduce new undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. These programmes will start in the 2025/2026 academic session. Read the full details below.
Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to establish new academic programmes.
This approval follows a Resource Verification visit conducted by a panel of experts.
The panel assessed the availability of human and material resources needed for the proposed programmes.

New Undergraduate Programmes
The following undergraduate courses will commence in the 2025/2026 academic session:
- B.Sc. Wildlife and Eco-Tourism Management
- B.Sc. Forest Resource Management
- B.Sc. Hydrology and Water Resource Management
- B.Sc. Climate Science and Agricultural Meteorology
- B.Sc. Cooperative Studies
- B.Sc. Development Studies
New Postgraduate Programmes
The following postgraduate programmes have also been approved:
- PGD, M.Sc., Ph.D. Mechatronics Engineering
- PGD, M.Sc., Ph.D. Entrepreneurship Studies
- Professional Master in Integrated Water Resources Management
