About the AE-FUNAI JUPEB Programme

The AE-FUNAI JUPEB (Joint University Preliminary Examinations Board) programme is a ten-month intensive coaching programme. It aims to prepare candidates for the JUPEB exams, which provide direct entry admission into 200-level courses at AE-FUNAI and over 60 other universities in Nigeria and abroad. Since its launch in 2014, AE-FUNAI has been recognised for its successful administration of this programme.

Eligibility and Duration

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the JUPEB programme, candidates must have at least five credits in five relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.

Programme Duration

The JUPEB programme spans two semesters, which is approximately ten calendar months.

How to Apply for the JUPEB Programme

To apply for the JUPEB programme, candidates must pay an application fee of ₦10,000.00 and follow the instructions on the AE-FUNAI CES ePortal.

Steps to Apply

1. Visit the AE-FUNAI CES ePortal: Go to https://ces.funai.edu.ng/.
2. Start the Online Application: On the menu bar, click on “ePortal” and select “Start Online Application”.
3. Provide Your Details: Enter your email address and other required information.
4. Create an Account: Log in with your Application Number and Password.
5. Complete Your Profile: Enter your personal information and other required details.
6. Generate RRR: Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR) for payment.
7. Make Payment: Pay the application fee using a Credit/Debit Card or at any Nigerian bank.
8. Submit Your Application: Ensure all sections are filled correctly and click “Complete Application”.
9. Receive Acknowledgement: You will receive an acknowledgment via email and SMS.
10. Print Application: Print two coloured copies of your Application Form.

Important Information

• Photograph Requirements: Provide a recent coloured passport photo with a white background (taken not earlier than 3 months before the application). Selfies and blurred photos are not accepted.
• Valid Contact Information: Use a valid email address and personal phone number.
• Follow Instructions Carefully: Ensure you follow all application instructions to avoid disqualification.
• Registration and Screening: Only report to the Centre for Educational Services for Registration and Screening after receiving an official Invitation and approved Admission Letter via email.
