Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO) recruitment disclaimer

The Management of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO) has warned the public about scammers spreading wrong details about a so called recruitment exercise, using an unknown online portal.

The university said clearly that FUNATO has not set up any recruitment portal and has not started any recruitment at this time. So, any calls, messages, online adverts, or websites that claim they are offering jobs for FUNATO are fake and not accepted by the university management.

People are strongly asked to ignore the false claims. They should also avoid sending applications, personal details, or any kind of payment to anyone or any platform pushing the story.

FUNATO said that if any recruitment is approved later, it will be announced through the university’s recognised and authorised channels. Until then, people should stay alert and be properly guided, because fraudsters like to rush people.

Thank you.
