FUOYE Centre for Gender Studies Partners QEDA, UNICEF, and Microsoft on P2E Digital Literacy and AI Training for Female Students

The Centre for Gender Studies, Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) is pleased to announce a collaboration with QEDA, UNICEF, Microsoft, and the Ekiti State Ministry of Education to implement an empowerment initiative tagged Partnership of Earning (P2E) activity for female students.

The project, which will hold virtually throughout November, involves free virtual training for FUOYE female students on Digital Literacy and AI. The programme is designed to equip female students with relevant AI digital skills that are aligned with global opportunities. Students can access the programme on their mobile phones, laptops, and other digital devices anywhere.

The participating students will receive training on AI Foundation and Generative AI, to be facilitated by the Quality Education Development Associates (QEDA) team. At the end of the training, participants will receive certificates authorized by Microsoft, UNICEF, and the Federal Ministry of Education.
