- Research record with admissible publications of not less than seventy-five points.
- Five points in academic leadership or administrative duties.
- Three points in community service.
- Up-to-date member of professional bodies.
- Forty-five points in job appraisal.
- Visible on Google Scholar with citation of not less than thirty.
- Minimum publications: fifteen.
- Five papers indexed in Scopus.
- Two favourable external assessments.
Reader / Reader Librarian (CONUASS 6)
- PhD or equivalent with a minimum of six years of university teaching or library work.
- At least two points of postgraduate students supervised.
- Academic Librarians take part in postgraduate teaching and supervision in the Department of Library Science.
- Research record with admissible publications of not less than sixty points.
- Four points in academic leadership or administrative duties.
- Three points in community service.
- PhD or equivalent.
- Up-to-date member of professional bodies.
- Forty-five points in job appraisal.
- Visible on Google Scholar or its equivalent with citation of not less than twenty.
- Minimum publications: twelve.
- Four papers indexed in Scopus Journal.
- Two favourable external assessments.
Senior Lecturer / Senior Librarian (CONUASS 5)
- PhD or equivalent plus at least three years of teaching as Lecturer I or Librarian I, with admissible publications totalling not less than forty-five.
- Citation not less than ten and forty-five points in job appraisal.
- Three points in academic leadership or administrative duty.
- Three points in community service.
- Up-to-date member of professional bodies with at least nine publications.
- Visible on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation not less than ten.
Lecturer I / Librarian I (CONUASS 4)
- PhD or equivalent and at least three years as Lecturer II or Librarian II, with admissible publications not less than twenty-five points and forty-five points in job appraisal. Minimum publications: five.
- Or PhD in Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, or Veterinary Medicine, or Fellowship in Medicine with registration by MDCN or VCN.
- Or Master’s degree and at least three years as Lecturer II or Librarian II, with admissible publications not less than thirty points, citation not less than five, and forty-five points in job appraisal. Up-to-date member of professional bodies with at least six publications.
- Two points in academic leadership or administrative duty.
- Visible on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation not less than five.
A first-time appointee to a teaching role may enter at no higher than Lecturer I.
Lecturer II / Librarian II (CONUASS 3)
- PhD or equivalent recognised by Federal University Oye-Ekiti.
- Has been Assistant Lecturer or Assistant Librarian in FUOYE or any other university for three years, with admissible publications of not less than fifteen points for M.Sc. and ten points for Ph.D, citation not less than two, and forty-five points in job appraisal.
- LL.B with at least Second-Class Lower Division plus BL plus LL.M may qualify.
- MBBS or DVM, B.Eng plus COREN, M.Sc, Agric, M.Tech, M.Eng may qualify.
- Clinical staff who passed Part I Fellowship may qualify, subject to basic rules.
- Visible on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation not less than two.
Assistant Lecturer / Assistant Librarian
- Master’s degree from FUOYE or any recognised body.
- LL.B with at least Second-Class Upper Division plus BL, or LL.B with at least Second-Class Upper Division plus LL.M.
- B.Agric, B.Eng, B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Sc.Eng with at least Second-Class Upper Division.
- Evidence of registration on Google Scholar or its equivalent.
Graduate Assistant / Graduate Librarian
- First degree from FUOYE or any recognised body at not below Second-Class Upper Division.
- NYSC Discharge, Exemption, or Exclusion Certificate.
- This is a training post. A Master’s degree should be completed within three years, with a possible one-year extension. Failure to meet this may end the appointment.
