Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) CPPEG Postgraduate Admission

The Centre for Professional Petroleum Engineering & Geosciences (CPPEG) invites applications for its Professional Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and Master’s Degree programmes in Applied Petroleum Geosciences and Engineering for the 2024/2025 academic session.

These programmes are a collaboration between the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), and Laser Engineering and Resources Consultants Limited, through the Laser Petroleum Geosciences Centre (LPGC).

The programmes are approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

  1. Professional Postgraduate Diploma (PGD): This is a 12-month programme designed to provide essential industry skills in Petroleum Geosciences and Engineering.
  2. Master’s Degree (M.Sc./M.Eng.): This is a 15-month intensive training involving coursework and research in Geosciences and Engineering.

The programmes are structured to bridge the gap between academic learning and the practical skills required in the oil and gas industry.
