FUTA Economics, Accounting, Bus. Admin Get NUC Full Accreditation
The National Universities Commission through its Directorate of Accreditation has released the result of its accreditation of some programmes in the University’s School of Management Technology [SMAT]. The accreditation exercise was undertaken in May and June 2018. The Accreditation covers the following Programmes: Accounting, Business Administration and Economics. All the three programmes got full accreditation.
The Director of Accreditation, NUC, Dr. N. B. Saliu, signed the documents that conveyed the message to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Joseph Fuwape.
Part of the document reads “the NUC organized the accreditation of academic programmes at the Federal University of Technology, Akure in May/June 2018. The results of the exercise are as follows:
ADMINISTRATION
1. Accounting – Full
2. Business Administration – Full
SOCIAL SCIENCES
1. Economics – Full
The accreditation status is valid for a period of five years.
