The management of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has released the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme academic calendar for the 2021/2022 academic session.

1. September 1 – October 30, 2021: Recruitment of Candidates
2. October 11, 2021: Classes Start
3. October 18, 2021: Teaching Begins
4. February 1 – April 20, 2022:  Registration
5. April 20, 2022: Registration Portal Closed
6. April 10 – May 5, 2022: Upload Biometric information
7. April 21 – April 30, 2022: Deletion of candidates
8. June 13 – June 24, 2022: Examinations
9. July 4, 2022: Marking of Scripts begins
10. August 9, 2022: Academic Board
11. August 10, 2022: Governing Board
12. August 17, 2022: Release of Results
