Gombe State Scholarship Board Extends Scholarship Deadline

The Gombe State Scholarship Board has again pushed forward its registration deadline. What began back on 14 July was first shifted to 14 August, and now, following fresh pleas from students and other voices, the new closing date is set for Wednesday, 20 August 2025.

It is one of those things where management bends a little, just so more applicants can catch up. They want to make sure every eligible student gets a fair shot and that records are complete.

Why the extension was granted

According to the Board, the extra three days were approved so that more students can finish their online forms without panic. The idea is to allow inclusiveness and tidy documentation, not leave anyone stranded outside the system.

But there is also a clear warning: this is the last shift. Once 20 August comes, the door closes. No more talk of grace, no matter the excuse.
