Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Google Student Researcher Program, you must:
- Be enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programme in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Natural Sciences, or a related field.
- Have experience in one area of computer science, such as Natural Language Understanding, Human-Computer Interaction, Generative Media, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Quantum Information Science.
Preferred Qualifications
- Be enrolled in a full-time degree programme in the EMEA region and plan to return after completing the internship.
- Have prior research experience, such as internships, full-time roles, or lab work.
- Have contributed to research communities through publications in conferences or journals.
- Be proficient in one or more programming languages, including C/C++, Java, Python, MATLAB, or Go.
