GOUNI Matriculation 2026: Date, Venue, Times

Godfrey Okoye University (GOUNI), Enugu has invited the general public to the 17th Matriculation Ceremony.

The Vice Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Dr. Christian Anieke, on behalf of the Governing Council, staff and students, issued the invitation; the ceremony brings newly admitted students into the university community.

Date and venue for GOUNI 17th matriculation

The matriculation ceremony is scheduled for Friday, 27 February 2026.

Venue: Hon. Justice Cordelia Chukwurah Convocation Arena, Thinker’s Corner, Campus 2, Enugu.

Programme for the day

Activities will run in this order:

• Holy Mass: 9.00 am
• Academic Procession: 10.45 am

What the matriculation ceremony means

The ceremony marks the formal admission of newly admitted students into Godfrey Okoye University, as they take the matriculation oath and begin their academic programme; a Key step, done Once.
