Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, is now taking applications for its Sandwich programme for the 2025/2026 session. If you’ve always wanted a degree but regular school schedules didn’t fit your life, this could be your chance.
The programme runs under full approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) and offers a flexible structure for busy adults, especially those in Enugu and nearby areas.
Approved Courses
The university offers the following education degrees through the Sandwich programme:
- B.Sc. Ed. Biology
- B.Sc. Ed. Chemistry
- B.Sc. Ed. Computer Science
- B.Sc. Ed. Mathematics
- B.Sc. Ed. Physics
- B.Sc. Ed. Economics
- B.Sc. Ed. Political Science
- B.A. Ed. Social Studies
- B.A. Ed. English & Literary Studies
- B.Ed. Business Education
How the Programme Works
It runs on a Ten-Meeting schedule, spread across April, August and October. Each academic year is made up of two Meetings.
Where you start depends on your previous qualification:

- Meeting Nine is for Teaching Practice
- Meeting Ten is Project Defence and graduation
Programme Cost
The cost depends on your entry point. Here’s a breakdown:
- Meeting One entrants: ₦287,750
- Meeting Three entrants: ₦241,750
- Meeting Five entrants: ₦195,750
- Meeting Seven entrants: ₦149,750
There’s also a small annual levy of ₦1,000 paid during the October Meeting. Other minor development charges may come up now and then.
