Some opportunities are small, others walk in carrying a big basket. The Grooming Centre University Grant Scheme is the latter. For 2025, they are offering direct support to students who want their research to do more than just fill library shelves — work that could actually change lives.

This is the seventh year of the scheme, and the focus hasn’t shifted: backing research in areas like financial inclusion, rural development, social enterprise, MSMEs, tech for communities, women and youth in development, and other studies that point towards lifting people out of poverty.
