Programme of Events for GSU Convocation
The 14th Convocation will also feature the launching of the Endowment Fund as part of the GSU@20 Ceremonies.

Day 1: Thursday, 26th September 2024
- Event: Vice-Chancellor’s Press Briefing
- Venue: Senate Chamber
- Time: 9:00 am – 10:00 am
Day 2: Friday, 27th September 2024
- Morning Session: Award of First Degrees, Diplomas, and Prizes
- Venue: Convocation Square
- Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Afternoon Session: Convocation Lecture
- Venue: New Multipurpose Hall
- Time: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
- Speaker: Lt. Gen. (Rtd) Tukur Yusuf Buratai, PSC, NAM, GSS, ndc (BD)
- Chairman: Barr. (Dr.) Boss G. Mustapha, CFR
Day 3: Saturday, 28th September 2024
- Event: Award of Higher Degrees and Conferment of Honorary Degrees
- Venue: Convocation Square
- Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
This day will also include the Launching of the Endowment Fund, aimed at supporting the future growth and development of Gombe State University.
