Step-by-Step Guide to Accept Your Admission
The process is clear, though a bit long, so take it one step at a time:
- Confirm admission status on JAMB CAPS portal.
- Find your JAMB registration number.
- Send SMS using the phone tied to your JAMB profile:
- Type your JAMB reg number, add a space, then ACCEPT (or REJECT).
- Example:
202551991244FA ACCEPT. - Send to 55019 or 66019.
- Wait for response. A message should confirm your admission, sometimes with your photo.
- Print admission letter from JAMB Admission Letter portal and result slip from JAMB Result Slip portal. Make sure it is coloured.
- Pay acceptance fee starting Wednesday, 17 September 2025.
- Report for clearance in your Faculty or Department from Monday, 22 September 2025.
- Note the deadline: four weeks from publication, which lands on 14 October 2025.
- Keep track of updates. More names may still roll out, including UTME, Direct Entry, JUPEB, and Basic categories.
