IAUE Admission into Newly Approved Programmes 2025/2026

Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) invites qualified UTME candidates to apply for admission into its newly approved undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. This opportunity is open to both candidates who selected IAUE as their first choice and those who wish to change their preferred university to IAUE.

Applicants are advised to read the guidelines carefully and ensure that they meet the admission requirements before submitting their forms online.

Faculty of Management Sciences

• B.Sc. Environmental Management

Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences

• B.Sc. Microbiology
• B.Sc. Zoology
• B.Sc. Information Technology

Eligibility for Application

The following categories of candidates are eligible to apply for admission into IAUE:

a. Candidates who selected IAUE as their first choice in the 2025/2026 JAMB UTME, scored at least 150, and have the correct O’Level combinations, including English and Mathematics.

b. Candidates who did not select IAUE as their first choice but wish to study there, scored a minimum of 150, and meet the required O’Level combinations.

Candidates in category (b) must complete a Change of Institution process to Ignatius Ajuru University of Education via the JAMB website to be eligible for consideration.

Method of Application

Application for the newly approved IAUE programmes is strictly online through the university’s portal. Candidates are required to make a non-refundable payment of ₦15,000 using a Visa, Verve, or Mastercard debit card to access the application form.

Steps for New Candidates

1. Visit the IAUE website.
2. Under the Admission menu, click on Undergraduate Studies.
3. Select 2025/2026 UTME/DE Screening Registration.
4. Click Register for 2025/2026 Session UTME/DE Screening.
5. Complete and submit the online registration form.
6. A confirmation email with login details will be sent to your registered email address. Keep these details safe for future use.

For Candidates Who Previously Registered but Were Not Yet Admitted

1. Log in to your profile on the university portal.
2. Select your preferred course of study (refer to JAMB IBASS for course requirements).
3. Monitor your admission status on JAMB CAPS to confirm transfer or offer of admission.

Commencement and Deadline

The IAUE online application portal opens on Wednesday, 5 November 2025, and closes on Tuesday, 11 November 2025. Applicants are encouraged to complete their registration within the one-week period.

Note: The university will not process incomplete applications or those submitted with invalid email addresses or phone numbers. Candidates must ensure that all contact details provided are accurate and active.
