IAUE Postgraduate Admission Form 2025/2026
IAUE is now accepting applications for postgraduate studies in the 2025 session. Programmes cover PGD, Masters, and PhD, with flexible options for full-time, part-time, and holidays. Keep reading to see if you qualify and how to apply.
Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Rivers State, has started its 2025/2026 postgraduate admissions. If you’ve got a degree and you’re eyeing a higher qualification, now’s the time. The school is offering various options across Postgraduate Diplomas, Master’s, and Doctoral programmes.
These come in full-time, part-time, and even long holiday formats. And yes, even if you’re still waiting on your NYSC discharge, you can still apply.
What Programmes Are Available?
Here’s what you can apply for:
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGD, PGDL, PGDE)
- Master’s Degrees (MA, MEd, MSc, MLS, etc.)
- Doctorate Degrees (PhD)
- Master of Philosophy (MPhil/PhD)

Who Can Apply?
For Postgraduate Diploma
- A first degree from a recognised university with a pass or third class
- Or an HND in a related field
For Master’s Programmes
- A first degree in a relevant field with at least second class
- Or a PGD in a similar area
For MPhil/PhD
- An MBA or MPA
- Or a master’s degree with a CGPA lower than 3.5
For PhD
- A relevant master’s degree with a CGPA of 3.5 or more
How Long Do These Programmes Last?
- PGD and PGDE: 12 months
- PDDE: 4 months (yes, fast-tracked)
- Master’s degrees: 12 months
- PhD: 24 months, or 6 semesters
How Much Does It Cost?
- PhD: ₦40,600
- Master’s: ₦35,600
- PGD: ₦25,600
- Brochure fee: ₦7,600
These are the official fees for the application stage. Payment is done online, no middlemen needed.
Steps to Apply
- Go to IAUE’s portal
- Click on Postgraduate School under the Admissions tab
- On the new page, click Registration
- Fill in your name, email, number, and course of interest
- You’ll get login details by email and also on-screen
- Sign in, pick 2025/2026 as session
- Click Fees, generate your invoice, and pay online
- Pay for the brochure, then download it under Documents
- Fill your form, upload a photo, attach your certificates
- Submit and wait for updates
