ICAN Accredits Adeyemi College of Education Ondo (ACEONDO) Accounting Programme

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) has accredited the accounting programme of the Department of Business Education in the School of Vocational and Technical Education.

This was contained in a memo issued from the office of the Provost on Thursday, 16^th May, 2019.

According to the memo, the certificate was issued on Friday, 10^th May, 2019 by the Council of the Institute to the College, “having met all the requirements laid down by the institute for the accreditation of Accounting/Accountancy programmes in Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.

The accreditation covers four academic sessions beginning in 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019 and ending 2019/2020.

The Institute was established by the Act of Parliament No 15 of 1965 for the regulation of accounting profession in Nigeria.
