Important Details for Graduating Students
Mandatory Participation and Dress Code
It is compulsory for all graduating students to partake in the academic procession. You must be formally dressed in the approved academic gowns. Remember, the procession for graduating students starts at 9:00 AM on each day of the Convocation. Please ensure you are at the robing venue by this time. Those not fully dressed in academic gowns will not be permitted to join the procession, and joining midway is also not allowed.
Schedule of Payments
For the 2024 Convocation, here is the detailed schedule of payments that you need to follow:
- First Degree: NGN 10,000
- Master/Postgraduate Diplomas: NGN 12,000
- PhD: NGN 17,000
- Student copy of transcript: NGN 7,000
Payments should be made using INTER SWITCH ENABLED DEBIT CARDS (ATM CARDS).
Gown Collection and Return
Collect your gowns from your respective Faculty Officers or College Secretaries. Gowns must be returned by Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Failing to return the gown by this deadline will result in a fine of NGN 1,000 per day.
