JAMB Closes 2025 UTME Registration
JAMB has closed the 2025 UTME registration with over two million candidates enrolled. Mock and trial mock exams will hold on 5 April 2025. Read full details on registration numbers and exam preparations.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has ended registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The process, which started on 3 February 2025, closed on 8 March 2025.
A total of 2,030,627 candidates completed registration and will sit for the UTME on 25 April 2025.
This figure does not include those who registered at foreign centres.

Mock and Trial Mock Registration
A total of 200,115 candidates opted for the mock UTME scheduled for 5 April 2025.
630 candidates have also registered for the trial mock on the same date.
Examination Preparations
JAMB has put in place measures to ensure a fair examination process.
New systems have been introduced to detect and prevent fraud.
Several candidates have already been arrested for attempting to use forged A-level results.
