Jigawa State Polytechnic (JIGPOLY) has released registration steps for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session. The guidance applies to morning programmes.

The steps run in sequence; students are expected to complete each stage before moving to the next (missing a clearance point tends to stall the process).

Step 1: Pay the acceptance fee and print the admission letter

The student logs in to the application dashboard and pays ₦5,000.00 as the acceptance fee. After payment, the student prints the provisional admission letter.

Step 2: Screening and clearance at the Academic Division

The student proceeds to the Academic Division with:

Step 3: Collect the SRMS password from the ICT Directorate

After clearance by the Academic Secretary, the student proceeds to the ICT Directorate to collect a password. The password is required to generate the Remita schedule for payment of registration fees.

Step 4: Pay registration fees

The student pays the registration fees at any bank branch or through an online payment gateway.

A specific provision applies to female indigene students of Jigawa State. They are to pay only the FlexySAF service fee, MIS charges, Students Union Government (SUG) dues, and Medical Service (TISHP) fee; the total for these items is ₦6,000.00.

Step 5: Confirm payment, register courses, and print forms on SRMS

Step 6: ND students collect the JAMB admission letter

This step applies to National Diploma (ND) students only. The ND student proceeds to the ICT Directorate for collection of the JAMB admission letter.

Step 7: Collect and complete the student file at Student Affairs

The student proceeds to the Students’ Affairs Division to collect and fill the required files.

Step 8: Complete the medical examination at the Polytechnic Clinic

The student proceeds to the Polytechnic Clinic for medical examination and signing of the Medical Form.

Step 9: Obtain signatures and stamps on the printed forms

The student proceeds to the following departments and units for signing and stamping of the documents printed in Step 5:

Final documentation at the department

After the required sign-offs, the student proceeds to the department for final documentation.
