Key Responsibilities of the Managing Director
The Managing Director will oversee both LASU Ventures Limited and LASU Consult Limited.
This role includes managing business operations, driving investment opportunities, ensuring financial stability, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Acting as the chief executive of both companies and reporting to their respective boards.
- Developing and executing business strategies approved by the boards.
- Monitoring market trends and identifying growth opportunities.
- Managing budgets and financial resources for both entities.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies such as CAC, FIRS, and others.
Qualifications for the Position
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or Business Administration, with an MBA.
- Membership in recognised professional bodies such as ICAN or NIMARK.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience, including five years in a government or university-owned investment company.
- A strong understanding of financial reporting, regulations, and company law.
Age Requirement

The Managing Director’s salary is competitive and negotiable, as both LASU Ventures Limited and LASU Consult Limited are self-sustaining commercial entities.
