Fresh students: step-by-step registration
Step 1: Accept or reject the admission
The candidate logs in to the account and accepts or rejects the admission.
Step 2: Pay the acceptance fee, then print the admission letter
Before printing the admission letter, the candidate pays:
- Admission acceptance fee: ₦10,000.00
Step 3: Accept admission on JAMB, then print the JAMB admission letter (ND only)
The candidate logs in to the JAMB account to accept the admission and print the JAMB admission letter (for ND).
Step 4: Departmental screening and stamping
The candidate goes to the relevant department for screening; the admission letters are signed and stamped there.
Step 5: Pay union dues at Micro Finance Bank
The candidate proceeds to Micro Finance Bank to pay:
- Union dues: ₦1,500.00
Step 6: School assessment with required photocopies
The candidate meets the Students Affairs Officer at the relevant school for Assessment, with photocopies of these documents; keep them Neat:
- Copy of screened Polytechnic admission letter
- Copy of JAMB admission letter (for ND)
- Copy of NBTE admission letter (for HND)
- Copy of teller for payment of union dues
- Copies of all original documents
- Passport photograph
Step 7: Account activation
The candidate meets the M.I.S. staff for account activation.
Step 8: Complete portal payments and print required documents
The candidate logs in on the KanoPoly SRMS portal and completes the listed actions:
- Pay central registration fee
- Pay departmental registration
- Print receipts
- Print course registration form (C.R.F.)
- Print student examination card
Step 9: Library registration
The candidate proceeds to the library for library registration.
Step 10: Payment authentication at bursary
The candidate proceeds to the bursary department at central administration for payment authentication.
Step 11: Final departmental documentation
The candidate returns to the department with these items for documentation:
- Two (2) copies of all credentials
- Two recent passport photographs
Returning students: step-by-step registration
Step 1: Collect the clearance form
The student goes to the relevant department to collect the clearance form.
Step 2: Pay union dues at Micro Finance Bank
The student proceeds to Micro Finance Bank to pay:
- Union dues: ₦1,500.00
Step 3: Submit required copies to the MIS representative
The student meets the M.I.S. representative at the unit school and submits copies of:
- Photocopy of clearance form
- Photocopy of previous payment (authenticated)
- Copy of teller for the payment of union dues

The student logs in on the KanoPoly SRMS student portal and completes these tasks:

Step 5: Authenticate payment at bursary
The student proceeds to the bursary department for payment authentication.
Step 6: Submit authenticated evidence to the department
The student submits the authenticated evidence of payment and other registration documents to the department.
