KASU Physical Screening and Document Verification: Schedule, Venue, Portal Steps, and Required Documents for 2025/2026 Provisional Admission Candidates

Kaduna State University (KASU) has fixed new dates for the continuation of the Mandatory Physical Screening and Document Verification exercise for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. This notice applies to candidates who got a Provisional Admission Offer through JAMB, but could not finish screening during the earlier window (8 to 19 December 2025). It also covers candidates who came before, yet still have document issues that need to be cleared.

Some students keep asking, “Is it for everyone again?” No. It is for those who missed the first round, and those who still have pending files. Simple as that.

A. Screening Schedule

Candidates will attend screening at the time and place below.

A small tip that saves stress: candidates should arrive early. The line can get long. A late start can spoil the whole day.

Anyway, the online part comes first.

B. Pre-screening Requirement

Candidates must complete this online step before they come to the venue. KASU expects proof that the update was done.

  1. Log in on the KASU SAFAapply Post-UTME portal.
  2. Upload a clear scanned copy of the JAMB Admission Letter using these steps:
    • Go to the dashboard and click Edit Application (top-right corner).
    • Scroll to the Document Upload section.
    • Click Upload and choose the JAMB Admission Letter file.
    • Go to Preview and Submit, then click Submit to save it.
  3. Print the Post-UTME Registration Acknowledgement Slip from the portal.

That slip matters. Staff may ask for it first, before anything else. Yes, even before the other papers. It happens.

On a side note, candidates should keep the scanned file sharp and readable. Blurry uploads waste time. People still do it, for some reason.

C. Documents Required for Screening

Candidates must bring the originals and two photocopies each of the documents below. They should arrange them in the same order. Staff work faster when the file is neat.

  1. JAMB Admission Letter (printed from JAMB CAPS)
  2. JAMB Original Result Slip
  3. O’Level Result(s) (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB, etc.)
  4. A valid Scratch Card for the O’Level result used during the application
  5. Two (2) copies of the Online Generated O’Level Result (printed from the official portal of WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
  6. Birth Certificate or Sworn Age Declaration
  7. Primary School Leaving Certificate
  8. Certificate of Local Government of Origin / Indigene Certificate
  9. Post-UTME Registration Acknowledgement Slip (printed from SAFAapply portal)
  10. NIN Slip

That reminds me, candidates should check their photocopies. Two copies means two copies, not one. It sounds obvious. Yet people still show up short.
