Qualifications for Admission
- JAMB Requirements
- Candidates must make the university their first choice in JAMB.
- A minimum of five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, in WAEC, NECO, or equivalents is required.
- Candidates must score at least 140 in the 2024 JAMB.
- Change of Institution
- Candidates who scored 140 and above in JAMB but did not choose DUFUHS can change their institution on the JAMB Portal to make DUFUHS their first choice and apply for admission.
- Interim Joint Matriculations Board (IJMB) Programme
- Candidates who did not write JAMB but wish to study at the university can apply for the IJMB programme.
- The IJMB programme lasts for one year, after which successful candidates can gain direct entry into 200 level without JAMB.
Admission by Transfer
- DUFUHS accepts transfer students from other accredited universities.
- Candidates must have completed one academic session at their current university.
- Evidence of JAMB admission letter and official academic transcript showing good academic standing is required.
- The Inter-University Transfer Form is available on the university website.
Mode of Registration/Payment
- Visit the DUFUHS website or the KDUMS website to access the undergraduate application.
- Follow the procedure to obtain the admission form for graduate, IJMB, or Inter-University transfer.
- Make a payment of ten thousand naira (₦10,000.00) through the Remita payment platform.
