Kwara State Bursary and Scholarship 2025 Application
Kwara State Government has announced the opening of bursary and scholarship applications for 2025. All qualified students and law school graduates are urged to apply online between 4th and 18th September. Read below for full details on requirements and process.

The Kwara State Government has officially opened its 2025 Bursary and Scholarship Award for indigenes studying in higher institutions across Nigeria. This includes graduates from the Nigerian Law School, covering all seven campuses.
The call was made under the directive of the Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and will be supervised by the Honourable Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu.
Who can apply
The bursary and scholarship exercise is open to:
- Students of Kwara origin currently in tertiary institutions across Nigeria
- Graduates of the Nigerian Law School (all campuses included)
Applicants must apply within the timeline, as late entries will not be entertained.

- Application start date: Thursday, 4th September 2025
- Closing date: Thursday, 18th September 2025
Missing this window means automatic disqualification.
Steps for application
The process is strictly online and must be followed carefully:
- Apply through the official scholarship portal
- Register with KWASRRA if you have not done so before
- Use your KWASRRA SSID (11-digit number on your Kwara State Resident Card) and NIN to log in
- Complete the application form with accurate personal details

Candidates are required to scan and upload the following:
- Passport photograph
- Local Government Citizenship Certificate
- Admission Letter
- Final-year course registration form (duly stamped)
- Institutional valid ID card
- Evidence of NAKSS dues payment
- KWASRRA Certificate
- NAKSS receipt
- Valid NIN slip

The government has stressed that students should avoid shortcuts or third-party links. Only the approved online platform will be recognised. Those who fail to submit within the timeline risk disqualification.
