Kwara Poly Denies 9 March Resumption Message

The Management of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin has dismissed a widely circulated message that claimed academic activities would resume on Monday, 9 March; the Polytechnic described the message as false and unauthorised.

Where the denial came from

In an official statement released on 2 February 2026 from the Office of the Acting Registrar, the Polytechnic clarified that the notice tagged “Official Notice to all Kwarapoly Students” did not come from the school. Students were told to disregard it completely.

Acting Registrar’s warning to students

The Acting Registrar, A. H. Amin, speaking for the Management, stated that the Polytechnic has not announced any resumption date. The statement warned students against acting on unverified information; it said such messages can cause confusion and avoidable inconvenience.

When to expect a real resumption update

The Management stated that it will communicate legitimate updates on resumption dates, academic activities, and other key matters only after it receives directives from the appropriate authorities. It also stated that any approved update will come through recognised institutional channels.
