Join LASCON's National Diploma in Nursing for 2024/2025

The Lagos State College of Nursing (LASCON) post UTME form for admission into the National Diploma (ND) Nursing Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session is now available. Located in Igando, Alimosho LGA, Lagos, LASCON invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Computer Assisted Screening (CAS) examination.

Admission Requirements

JAMB

• Candidates must have scored 200 and above in the JAMB and chosen Lagos State College of Nursing as their first choice.

WASSCE/NECO (O’ Level)

• Candidates must have at least a credit in five subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, in no more than two sittings.

Application Period

• Start Date: Monday, 1st July 2024
• End Date: Friday, 16th August 2024

Study Period

• Duration: 5 years
• Programme: This is a non-terminal Nursing Programme to obtain Academic and Professional Certificates (ND/RN/RM/PHN).

Method of Application

1. Visit the LASCON Website.
2. Click on the Course menu, then click on Apply.
3. Create a new application account by filling in the required details: Surname, First name, Course, Email address, Phone number, and JAMB registration number.
4. Submit the form. A confirmation email will be sent to the provided email address. Ensure it is valid.
5. Follow the payment link in the confirmation email. The payment page will load.
6. Application Fee: Pay a non-refundable fee of N15,000 using Paystack or Voucher.
7. Receive your application number and password via email after payment.
8. Log in to the continue application page using your application number and password. Fill in the following details:
   • Address information
   • Parents/Guardian/Sponsor details
   • Upload a passport photo (not more than 100kb)
   • Demographic information
   • O’level details (click on skip)
   • Upload documents
   • Change password
   • Lock details
9. Submit the completed form and sign out. Print out your Applicant Information Form.

Only applicants with the printed form will be allowed to write the Computer Assisted Screening examination.

Computer Assisted Screening (CAS)

Screening Date

• Date: Saturday, 31st August 2024
• Time: 8:00 am
• Venue: LASCON Premises (inside Alimosho General Hospital, Igando)

The examination is computer-based and will cover English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Current Affairs.

Important Notes

• The programme is residential for all students with no cooking facilities.
• Accommodation is available on a first-come, first-served basis during the CAS, with limited spaces.
