Programme Overview

The LASU JUPEB programme runs for one academic session, starting from September 2024 to August 2025. This intensive programme prepares candidates for admission into the 200 level of degree programmes at JUPEB affiliated universities.

Admission Requirements

General Requirements

• Five Ordinary Level Credits: Including English Language. For those pursuing Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacology, Agricultural Science, Science, Education, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, and Engineering, a credit in Mathematics is required.

Qualifying Examination

Candidates who meet the admission requirements will be invited for a written qualifying examination. Students should bring:

• National Identification Number (NIN) Slip
• Birth Certificate
• O’ Level Result
• One Passport Photograph

Ensure the arrangement of names on all documents matches. Awaiting results are not accepted.

Acceptance Fee

Successful candidates must pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000.00). Detailed course information is available on the LASU website.

• Course allocation depends on performance in the JUPEB Examination.
• Students must purchase the Direct Entry JAMB form for 200 level admission.
• Students who fail may repeat the programme but must pay the necessary fees.
• No refunds will be made if a student voluntarily withdraws.

• Commencement of Lectures: Lectures begin immediately after the qualifying examination.
