LASU New Sandwich Students' Clearance Procedure 2025

Lagos State University (LASU) has introduced an online admissions clearance exercise for students admitted into the 2024 Modular Year Sandwich Degree programme.

All candidates must complete the process using the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA).

Successful candidates will receive matriculation numbers after completing the process.

Failure to complete the clearance will lead to forfeiture of admission.

LASU Consult Limited manages the LACACA process.

All admitted candidates must pay the required clearance fee through the LASU e-payment portal before starting the online clearance.

Candidates must also settle their acceptance, medical, and clearance fees before proceeding.

Payment Process for Clearance Fee

Follow these steps to make the payment:

1. Visit the LASU Consult website (https://www.lasu.edu.ng/consult).
2. Enter the Application Number in the space labelled “Matriculation Number/Application Number”.
3. Provide a valid email address and phone number.
4. Click Continue to proceed.

Steps to Complete the LACACA Clearance

Follow these steps to complete the clearance:

1. Visit LASU’s official website (https://www.lasu.edu.ng).
2. Click on the STUDENT tab and select SANDWICH LACACA.
3. Enter the 2024 Modular Year Sandwich Application Number and Surname, then click Submit.

Required Documents and Information

Once on the dashboard, complete the following steps:

• Confirm personal details.
• Verify disability status.
• Upload O’Level scratch card details.
• Upload original birth certificate.
• Upload original Sandwich Admission Letter.
• Upload a scanned signature.
• Agree to terms and submit the application.

After submission, the clearance status will move to 20% while university officials review the documents.

Monitoring Clearance Progress

Candidates must check their clearance progress regularly.

Errors requiring correction will need additional payments through the LASU e-payment portal (https://www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment).

Once clearance reaches 100%, successful candidates can:

• Print the LASU Admission Clearance Certificate.
• Receive a matriculation number.

Clearance Commencement Date

The online clearance begins on Friday, 7th February 2025.

Rejected candidates should check their portal for rejection reasons.

Some candidates may need to visit the Directorate of Sandwich at the Main Campus, Ojo, for further assistance.
