LASU Postgraduate Clearance 2023/2024: Step-by-Step Guide

LASU Central Admissions Clearance (PG LACACA)
All admitted candidates for the 2023/2024 academic session must participate in the online clearance exercise through the Postgraduate LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (PG LACACA). Successful candidates will be assigned matriculation numbers, while unsuccessful candidates will forfeit their provisional admissions.
Payment of Clearance Fees
Before commencing the clearance, ensure that you have paid the acceptance, medical, and clearance fees. Follow these steps to make the payment:
- Visit the LASU Consult Portal (https://lasu.edu.ng/consult).
- Enter your PG Application Number.
- Select the appropriate payment description from the dropdown menu.
- Provide a valid email and phone number.
- Click βContinueβ to finalise the payment.
Step-by-Step Clearance Procedure
- Visit the LASU Website (https://www.lasu.edu.ng).
- Go to the STUDENT tab and click on PG LACACA.
- Enter your PG Application Number and surname, select the Year of Entry (2023), and click on Submit.
- Complete the following tasks on the dashboard:
- Validate your basic bio-data details.
- Upload OβLevel results and relevant scratch card details.
- Upload your original birth certificate.
- Upload the original LASU Postgraduate Admission Letter.
- Upload BSc Certificate.
- Upload MSc Certificate where required.
- Upload PGD Certificate where required.
- Upload NYSC Discharge Certificate.
- Upload Academic Transcript.
- Upload a digital signature.
- Upload evidence of Change of Name where required.
- Submit the application by checking the βI Agreeβ text box and then click on Submit.
Monitoring Progress
- After submitting your documents, the clearance will progress to 20%. University officials will then review your documents.
- Check for the progress of the clearance regularly. You may need to address any errors that require correction.
- If corrections are needed, pay for the correction of errors on the LASU Payment Portal (https://www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment).
Completion
- Upon reaching 100% clearance progress, successful candidates can print the LASU PG Admission Clearance Certificate and will be assigned matriculation numbers.
- The online clearance will commence on Friday, 19th July 2024.
- Rejected students should check their portal to understand the reason for rejection.
