Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Orientation and Matriculation Dates

The management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho, Nigeria, has released the timetable for the 2025/2026 Orientation Programme and the Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted students.

The schedule shows that the orientation will run for two days. Orientation Day One is fixed for Monday, 12 January 2026, while Orientation Day Two will hold on Tuesday, 13 January 2026.

Orientation Programme Dates and Venue

All the planned activities will take place at The Great Hall, LAUTECH. Proceedings are expected to start by 9:00 a.m., so fresh students will need to arrive early, even if it’s just to find a seat without stress.

The orientation sessions are meant to help new students understand the University’s academic rules, school regulations, and general campus life. It’s the kind of thing that saves someone from small mistakes later, like missing a rule they didn’t know.

Matriculation Ceremony Date

The Matriculation Ceremony, which is the official event that marks the formal entry of fresh students into the University, is scheduled for Friday, 15 January 2026.

Just like the orientation, the matriculation will also be held at The Great Hall, LAUTECH, and it is set to begin by 9:00 a.m..

Message to Fresh Students

Fresh students have been advised to attend all scheduled activities and to come on time. Skipping a day can leave a student confused later, and that’s not a nice start.

Signed Notice

The announcement was jointly signed by Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, Vice-Chancellor, and Mrs. Olayinka Olanike Balogun, Registrar.
