The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships offer a unique chance for exceptional international students to pursue higher education at the University of Toronto, one of the top universities in a diverse city.

Scholarship Details

Each year, approximately 37 students are named Lester B. Pearson Scholars. The scholarship covers:

• Tuition fees
• Books
• Incidental fees
• Full residence support for four years

This prestigious scholarship is available only for first-entry, undergraduate programmes at the University of Toronto.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

• Be an international student requiring a study permit.
• Be in your final year of secondary school in 2024/2025 or have graduated no earlier than June 2024.
• Begin your studies at the University of Toronto in September 2025. (Students already in post-secondary education or starting in January 2025 at another institution are not eligible.)

Application Process

To apply, follow these steps:

1. School Nomination: Your school must nominate you. High schools not yet contacted must apply to participate in the programme here. Schools that participated before will receive nomination access starting 1st July 2024.
2. Apply to University: Apply to study at the University of Toronto here by 18th October 2024. The Pearson Scholarship will be considered for your first-choice programme.
3. Complete Scholarship Application: After receiving a nomination and applying to the university, complete the online Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application by 8th November 2024. A private link to the application will be provided upon nomination.
4. Submit Documentation: Ensure all required documents are submitted online by 8th November 2024.
