The Late Professor Ayodeji Femi-Pearse (LPAFP) Essay Competition for 2024 is now open for registration.

This competition invites students from all tertiary institutions across Nigeria to showcase their writing skills.

Theme of the Essay

The theme for this year’s competition is “The Role of Technology in Bridging Nigeria’s Doctor-to-Patient Ratio”.

Participants are encouraged to explore how technology can address this critical issue.

Competition Guidelines

To participate, your essay must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Word Limit: Essays must not exceed 1,500 words.
• Originality: Submissions must be original and must not use AI assistance.
• Registration: You must register before submitting your essay.
• Deadline: No submissions will be accepted after the deadline.

Prizes

The competition offers substantial cash prizes for the top three essays:

• Winner: N500,000
• First Runner-Up: N300,000
• Second Runner-Up: N200,000
