The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Carnegie Mellon University Africa (CMU-Africa) is now accepting applications for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Eligibility Criteria

Application Process

To apply, follow these steps:

  1. Submit your online application through the CMU-Africa Admissions Portal.
  2. Complete the required competency tests outlined on the CMU-Africa Competency Tests page.

Applications must include a statement of purpose, resume or CV, and two policy-related writing samples.

Applicants should also provide a reference letter or employer endorsement.
