MAU 2025/2026 Undergraduate Admission Update
Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, has issued an update for candidates involved in the 2025/2026 undergraduate admission process. The university has observed that several applicants whose admissions have already been approved are yet to accept their offers. Such candidates are strongly advised to accept their admission immediately to avoid losing their slots.
MAU also noted that some applicants still do not have their O’ Level results uploaded on the JAMB portal. These candidates must visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre to upload their results without delay. This step is necessary to finalise their admission processing.
Important Notice from MAU for All Admission Candidates
Candidates who previously changed their programmes are encouraged to check their JAMB CAPS portals to ensure that such changes did not remove their O’ Level results. Keeping results properly uploaded will help the admission process move faster.
Staff members who requested admission for applicants whose names are yet to appear on the admission list are advised to transfer such candidates to programmes where there are available spaces.
According to the JAMB 2025/2026 admission policy, all admission exercises on the CAPS portal will close on 31 October 2025. Candidates applying to highly subscribed programmes such as MBBS, Nursing Science, Computer Science, Microbiology, Civil Engineering, Electrical Electronics Engineering, Law, Biochemistry, and similar courses are encouraged to switch to programmes with open spaces that share similar O’ Level and JAMB subject combinations.
