MAU Yola Opens Sale of Re-admission and Inter-departmental Transfer Forms for 2025/2026 Session

Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, has announced the start of the sale of forms for re-admission and inter-departmental transfer for the 2025/2026 academic session. The Academic Division of the Office of the Registrar issued the notice, dated 10 January 2026, and stated that the process is open to interested students who meet the prescribed academic requirements.

The notice places the focus where it belongs: eligibility first. Applicants must meet the stated academic conditions before any approval can follow; that point runs through the guidance in plain terms (and without room for guesswork).

Where to obtain the forms

Students are to obtain the relevant forms from the Academic Division. The university tied access to the forms to payment, and specified that the fee is non-refundable.

Payment requirement and platform

Applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of ₦30,000 to the university through the Remita platform. After payment, students are expected to complete the forms and meet all stated conditions before submission (a small step that often gets rushed, yet the notice treats it as mandatory).

Submission deadline

The university stated that completed application forms must be submitted within three weeks. It also stated that late submissions will not be entertained.

That timeframe is presented as a firm limit, not a guideline; students are expected to plan their submissions within the window provided.

Direction to Deans and Heads of Departments

The notice directed Deans and Heads of Departments to adhere strictly to the university’s guidelines and procedures for re-admission and inter-departmental transfers. It also emphasised that approvals will be granted only to applicants who satisfy the required academic conditions.

In effect, the university set two expectations side by side: applicants must meet the academic requirements, and academic units must apply the stated procedures consistently.
