MAU Postgraduate Registration Guide 2025/2026

Modibbo Adama University (MAU) in Yola has started registration for all new and returning postgraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The notice comes from the School of Postgraduate Studies and covers use of the online portal, login details, and how students can get support.

Key notice from the School of Postgraduate Studies

An internal memo dated 26 November 2025 was signed by A. B. Lawan (MNIM), Secretary of the School of Postgraduate Studies. The memo states that registration and fee payment will take place on the university postgraduate portal at MAU postgraduate portal.

Postgraduate students are asked to complete both their registration and payment steps on this portal.

Online registration steps at Modibbo Adama University (MAU)

Students are to follow the steps below for online registration:

1. Visit the MAU postgraduate portal.
2. Enter the required login details.
3. Use the default password Cpgs2025 if it has not been changed.
4. Complete the online registration and proceed to pay the approved fees.

Students should keep their portal details safe and avoid sharing their password with others.

Login details for new postgraduate students

For newly admitted postgraduate students, the memo gives two login options:

• Use the Matriculation Number shown on the admission letter, for example: M.Sc/POL/25/00000.
• Use the Application ID shown on the application form, for example: 2025-0300-00001.

These details allow the student to enter the portal and carry out online registration and payment.

Default password for fresh and returning students

The memo sets one default password for all fresh and returning postgraduate students: Cpgs2025.

This password applies to both new and returning students unless they have already changed it on the portal.
