MCHST resumption date: first semester 2025/2026

The management of Misau College of Health Science and Technology (MCHST) has confirmed that First Semester lectures for the 2025/2026 academic session will begin on Monday, 5 January 2026.

This update came through an official circular dated 29 December 2025, signed by the management and sent to all staff and students.

The circular links the resumption to an adjusted academic calendar, with clear dates for lectures and exams.

First Semester Schedule

Completion of First Semester lectures, Continuous Assessment (C.A) and revision

• Monday, 5 January to Friday, 16 January 2026 (2 weeks)

First Semester examinations

• Monday, 19 January to Friday, 30 January 2026 (2 weeks)

What Students Should Do Before Resumption

Students who have not finished their online registration are asked to complete it straight away. Leaving it late can cause issues, and nobody wants that.

All freshly registered students who still have not submitted their A4 file and foolscap are to submit them on the resumption day.

Students are also expected to return on time, because lectures will start on the resumption day with no delay. So it’s best they show up ready.

What Lecturers Need to Submit

All lecturers are to submit their examination question papers, with marking schemes, to their Heads of Department on or before Friday, 9 January 2026.

The management asked both staff and students to follow the schedule closely, so the first semester academic work can end smoothly and on time.
