MOAUM Admission List for 2025/2026 Session

Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM), formerly Benue State University, has released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The list covers candidates who applied for undergraduate programmes and have been approved by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Key notice on the 2025/2026 admission list
The university has published the list of successful candidates on its portal at portal.bsum.edu.ng/ after JAMB approval.
Every candidate on this list is expected to:
- Accept the admission offer on JAMB CAPS
- Print the JAMB admission letter from CAPS
- Keep a copy of the JAMB result slip in colour print
Any candidate who has not yet accepted the offer on the JAMB portal is expected to do so before starting portal payments and registration.
How to confirm admission status on the portal
To confirm admission status on the university portal, each candidate is to pay an admission verification fee.
- Admission verification fee: Three Thousand Naira (₦3,000.00)
- Mode of payment: e-payment on the university portal
After payment and confirmation, candidates can see their admission details and move on to the next stage.
Fees for newly admitted candidates
Newly admitted candidates are to note the following fees:
- Admission verification fee: ₦3,000.00
- Acceptance fee: Thirty-Five Thousand Naira (₦35,000.00)
- User-Charges: As listed by each faculty on the portal
User-Charges are paid after screening. The amount depends on the faculty and programme shown on the candidate’s profile.
Steps after screening and payment
All screened candidates who have paid their User-Charges should return to the portal and follow these steps:
- Log in with JAMB registration number as the default username and password.
- Change the default password to a new one with 8 characters. The new password should have upper and lower case letters, symbols, and numbers.
- Fill the pre-bio-data form.
- Update bio-data details under “my profile”.
- Click on the “Registration Menu” to register semester courses.
- Print the admission acknowledgement slip, course registration slip, and screening forms.
- Complete the printed forms as required.
- Take the forms to the places shown on the course registration forms for signing.
These steps help each candidate move from admission offer to full registration.
E-payment guide for MOAUM admission fees
All payments are by e-payment through the portal and approved payment channels.
Step 1: Visit the e-payment portal
Go to the official payment page at the
MOAUM e-payment portal.
On this page:
- Enter the UTME registration number.
- Click on the “Confirm Details” button.
- Scroll down and select “Admission Checking” from the Payment Category.
- Click on “Generate Invoice” to create a payment number.
Step 2: Cash payment at the bank
For candidates who prefer cash payment:
- On the portal, click on the “Pay Cash at the Bank” button.
- Print the Payment Reference Number slip.
- Take the slip to any commercial bank in Nigeria.
- At the bank, staff use “College Pay” to process the payment.
- The bank gives a Payment Receipt after the transaction.
Step 3: Payment using Quickteller from the internet
For online card payment:
- On the portal, click on the “Pay on Quickteller” button.

Quickteller payment page for MOAUM. - On the Quickteller page, follow these steps:
- Insert the UTME registration number.
- Insert an active email address and mobile number.
- Click “continue”.
- Follow the on-screen steps to complete payment.
- Print the payment confirmation slip from Quickteller.
- Go back to the university portal and print the payment receipt.
Duration for portal activities
Candidates are to note the time frame for portal activities.
Checking admission status, acceptance of admission, online screening, payment of school fees, and course registration on the university portal will run for one month:
- Start date: Monday, 24 November 2025
- End date: Tuesday, 23 December 2025
All candidates are expected to complete every step within this period so that the admission offer stays valid.
Warning on forgery
The university has made it clear that any form of forgery leads to serious action.
Forgery of any document or record will bring automatic withdrawal of the admission offer. It may also lead to prosecution under the law.
