MOPGA Visiting Fellowship 2026 for Researchers
France has opened applications for the MOPGA Visiting Fellowship 2026, inviting talented early-career researchers from around the world to contribute to projects centred on climate change, sustainability, and environmental science.
Now in its ninth edition, the Make Our Planet Great Again (MOPGA) programme supports research efforts that address the global challenges linked to the planet’s health and resilience. The initiative continues to strengthen France’s leadership in climate action and international collaboration.
About the MOPGA Visiting Fellowship
The MOPGA Visiting Fellowship offers selected researchers the opportunity to carry out high-level studies in France for up to one year. The fellowship supports projects that explore scientific solutions to issues such as energy transition, biodiversity, and public health in the context of environmental change.

Who Can Apply for the MOPGA Visiting Fellowship
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a non-French researcher with a PhD defended between December 2020 and December 2025.
- Must not have lived in France for more than 90 days between September and December 2025.
This fellowship is designed for researchers who wish to collaborate with French institutions and contribute to global scientific progress through applied research.
