The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has released the 2025 Nov/Dec NBC/NTC and ANBC/ANTC examination results.
At the Board’s headquarters in Benin, the Registrar and CEO, Dr Aminu Mohammed, announced the release; he said 60 per cent of candidates obtained five credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics. The Board released the Results 64 days after the last paper.
Key figures from the 2025 Nov/Dec release
NABTEB recorded 61,591 registrations nationwide. This figure includes:
- 57,444 ordinary level candidates
- 4,147 advanced level candidates
The Board said this represents a 28.42 per cent increase compared to 2024.
NABTEB conducted the examinations in 2,079 centres, a 13.92 per cent rise in the number of centres.
How candidates performed across trade areas
Performance differed by trade area. NABTEB reported higher pass rates in Construction, Engineering, and Miscellaneous Trades than in Business Trades.
Overall, more than half of the candidates qualified as craftsmen and master craftsmen.
Malpractice figure reported by NABTEB
On examination malpractice, NABTEB reported 259 candidates (0.42 per cent) were involved. The Board said the figure dropped slightly from 2024, and linked the change to better monitoring and work with security agencies.
TVET focus and 2026 in-school registration update
Dr Mohammed reaffirmed NABTEB’s commitment to strengthening Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Nigeria through new work and partnerships. He also announced that registration for the 2026 in-school NBC/NTC examinations has commenced.
How to check NABTEB GCE result 2025 (Nov/Dec) online
Candidates can check their results online using the Board’s portal.
- Go to the nearest NABTEB office to get result-checking PINs
- Visit the NABTEB eWorld result portal
- Enter the Candidate Identification Number (e.g., 15001-001)
- Select the type of examination (Nov/Dec)
- Enter the 4 digits of the examination year (e.g., 2025)
- Enter the Card Serial Number and PIN on the photo card (e.g., N123456789)
- Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on the scratch card (e.g., 012345678912)
- Click Submit; wait for the results window to display
How to send the result to an email address
To have the result sent to an email address, candidates should:
- Follow steps 1 to 5 above
- Tick the “Send Results to E-mail” box
- Enter a valid e-mail address (e.g., segun@yahoo.com)
- Click Submit; wait for the results window to display
